Meadow cottage is a small cobbled cottage overlooking a meadow filled with wild flowers and buzzing with insects. There is a 9ct gold butterfly fluttering around a flower of rose cut pink rhodolote. There is also a dragonfly in the meadow. The roof is also covered in flowers and a bee.
 
The locket measures 3cm (not including bail) high x 2cm wide x 1cm deep. It opens in the middle. Its set on a handmade toggle on a 36 inch belcher chain which can be worn long or double with the toggle at 18 inches.
Made from sterling silver sheet, tube and wire. All raw materials are from Cookson Gold a large bullion dealer in Birmingham.
 
This is hallmarked 925, 375 (gold), with my unique makers mark from the birmingham assay office.

Inspiration
I love making house lockets, each with their own character, where a faerie could be living. There is a magical space inside with a concertina piece of card for a wish or you could put something special in there.
